Cancellation Policy

Your reservation may be cancelled without penalty up to 72 hours before 6:00 p.m. MST (Mountain Standard Time) of your arrival date. Failure to cancel in time will result in a no-show charge to your credit card in the amount of your first night's stay including taxes. Be sure to obtain a cancellation number and keep it for future reference. There will be no refund of your deposit should you fail to timely cancel and the remaining nights of your reservation will also be cancelled. Group cancellations are governed by terms outlined in group agreements.


Check Cashing

Due to the small amount of cash kept on hand at the front desk, we are not able to cash checks. ATMs are conveniently located at Zions Bank and Sol Foods Supermarket, in the center of town, plus Hoodoos and Happy Campers Markets near the Park entrance.


Check-In/CheckOut

Desert Pearl Inn is on Mountain Standard Time and observes daylight saving time. Due to Covid-19, our housekeeping staff is taking extra steps for your safety. This has resulted in a later check-in time of 4:00 p.m. Checkout time is no later than 11:00 a.m. unless a later checkout time has been approved. Late checkouts can only be approved by the manager on duty on the morning of departure and are subject to Housekeeping's ability to accommodate this request. Late checkouts without pre-approval will be charged a full night's stay. While we are open 24/7, Registration lobby doors are locked from 11:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. for security purposes. For after-hours assistance, please ring the doorbell or call the Front Desk.


Cooking/Restricted Items

No barbeque grills, hot plates, or other cooking devices are allowed in guest rooms, on guest room balconies/terraces, or anywhere else on Desert Pearl Inn property. Also prohibited: humidifiers, spray cleaners/disinfectants, and candles. Any damage resulting from the use of these items will be assessed and charged to your credit card.


Credit Card Policy

In order to guarantee your reservation, a credit card valid through the date(s) of your stay must be on file. We accept American Express, MasterCard, VISA, and Discover. 72 hours prior to arrival, your card will be charged a deposit in the amount of your first night room rate plus tax. At check-in, your credit card will be authorized for the remaining amount of your stay including taxes. For your protection, we require the presentation of positive identification such as a valid driver’s license or passport in conjunction with a credit card.


Cribs

Cribs are available on a reserved or first come, first served basis. Contact the front desk or housekeeping for crib service. Unless you have reserved a crib as part of your reservation, there may be a nightly charge of $10.00 plus tax.


Damage and Theft

You shall be responsible for damage to rooms or other hotel facilities or theft of property of Desert Pearl Inn caused by you, your children, agents, or visitors. All costs, charges, or fees incurred by Desert Pearl Inn resulting from the repair of damage to hotel property or to replace stolen property will be charged to your credit card on file.


Groups

Group reservations must be made through our group department. A group is any series of bookings where five or more rooms are reserved for any given night(s) by one or more persons related in any manner. Group reservations are subject to special booking and cancellation policies that may not be the same as those for an individual reservation. Any group or individual reservation(s) that is part of a group and not reserved through our group department: a) will be subject to a cancellation term of no less than 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date and will be charged a late cancellation fee if not cancelled by that date; b) may be considered at the discretion of Desert Pearl Inn as null and void. Keys

Please safeguard your room keys. We have done everything in our power to provide key security for your safety and cannot be held liable for lost or misplaced room keys. If it is necessary to obtain an additional room key, front desk personnel will require positive identification for your safety. Upon check-out, please either leave your key(s) in your room or give them to the Front Desk.


Liabilities

Desert Pearl Inn has no responsibility for damages or loss to any personal property on or about the premises and Desert Pearl Inn assumes no bailment for personal property.Guest agrees that all parties’ contractual obligations are subject to termination without liability upon the occurrence of “force majeure.” A force majeure event is any circumstance beyond reasonable control of the party whose performance is prevented thereby, including, but not limited to, acts of God, war, disaster, strikes, civil disorders, epidemic, or other emergencies making it illegal or impossible to substantially perform according to any agreement. In the case of a force majeure event, Desert Pearl Inn shall promptly refund monies only for services not rendered and cease all subsequent work affected by force majeure.


Oversize Vehicles Parking

Parking for oversize vans, RVs, trailers, and boats must be prearranged with Desert Pearl Inn management. If necessary, oversize vehicles can be parked in the south lot adjacent to the hotel.


Pets

Desert Pearl Inn has a NO PETS policy except for certified Medical Alert or Mobility Service animals. Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals do not qualify as service animals under the ADA. Guests are not allowed to leave service animals in their room when they leave the hotel. The dog must be under a handler’s care at all times. Any prohibited pet in a room will incur an automatic $300 cleaning charge to their credit card on file. Please note that Zion National Park does not allow pets on shuttle buses. Our Front Desk staff can recommend boarding alternatives for non-service pets.


Quiet Hours

Between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., guests must observe quiet hours and refrain from excessive noise that would disturb other guests. At all times, guests must be respectful. No loud music or noise nuisances are allowed or tolerated. In the event of a disturbance, one polite request (warning) will be given to reduce the noise. If the request is not followed, those responsible will be asked to vacate the hotel without a refund.


Rates

Room rates are based on single/double occupancy. All rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes, are quoted in U.S. dollars, are subject to change without notice, and are not guaranteed without a confirmed reservation. There is a charge of $10.00 per person per night for each additional person in a room, regardless of age. Desert Pearl Inn reserves the right to limit the total number of occupants in a room. King rooms and suites are limited to four persons; Double Queen rooms to six persons. There are no rollaway beds available. Every room has a queen sofa sleeper.


Room Inventory

Your room will be carefully inventoried both before your arrival and immediately after your departure. Should you choose to take anything from the room, your credit card will be billed the replacement value.


Room Moves

If a room move is necessary, it is your responsibility to vacate your current room by 11:00 a.m. Should you fail to do so, Desert Pearl Inn staff is authorized to enter your room and relocate your belongings to the new room. If you are scheduled to check out and fail to vacate your room in a timely manner and unless other arrangements have been made, Desert Pearl Inn staff is authorized to leave your belongings in your room and charge you for an additional night if there is vacancy, or move your belongings to the office if there is no vacancy.


Smoking

All rooms, suites, balconies/terraces, and the pool area are smoke-free. Smoking on the property is allowed in restricted areas only. For location of these areas, please refer to the Inn’s property map on our website or on the map handout provided at check-in.


Swimming Pool and Hot Tub

Our heated outdoor swimming pool is open March into October, temperature and weather permitting, for everyone from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. and for adults only from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. for lap swimming. The hot tub is open year-round and has the same hours as the swimming pool. Adults only may use the pool area from 9:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. provided quiet is observed so as not to disturb sleeping guests. The pool area is to be used only by Desert Pearl Inn registered guests.

No lifeguard services are provided. Children may not be left unattended and must be accompanied by an adult at all times when using the pool. Children, ages 5-14, require adult supervision at all times. Utah State law also mandates that no child under the age of five years is allowed in the hot tub.

Out of courtesy to other swimmers, children not yet toilet trained must wear waterproof diapers and/or waterproof outer pants in the swimming pool.


Violation of Rules

Accommodation may be denied for visible intoxication, possession of controlled substances, inability or unwillingness to pay, public nuisance, use of premises for unlawful purposes, or for violation of the House Rules of Desert Pearl Inn or for any reason whatsoever based solely on the discretion of Desert Pearl Inn. Guests asked to vacate the premises will not receive a discount or refund of any kind.
