Hailing from North Carolina, Chef Carpenter is a firm believer that food should be an adventure. His style, which blends strong European techniques with a natural sensibility, has developed from a lifelong culinary journey that’s taken him from the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains to the rolling landscapes of Southeast France and Northern Italy, and from the rugged terrains of Southern Mexico to the snow-capped peaks of the Rocky Mountains.
